“I want to immortalize the most magnificent moment of our life. This is the moment when tremendous emotion is overwhelming us, and we cannot see anybody else in the world but our lover, and we want to hold on to this moment forever. We know that we cannot hold on forever to this, but we try to grab it, and suspend it so that we can always cherish it in our soul. [My] painting is saying, I have found you, and you have found me”.
